It seems to be an unavoidable landmark one discovers along the way once having begun exploring such concepts as "absolute" vs. "relative" motions - as expressed by Isaac Newton in the opening chapters of his Principles of physics. If, however, taken to its logical extreme, the concept of "relative" motions (among various bodies moving relatively toward or around one another) such as we see in the void of outer-space leads to the concept of "absolute" motionlessness (a realm only imaginable, in which not even sub-quantum scale uncertainty-based ZPE fluctuations would occur). The religious implications are obvious, and equally precarious. However, I came to this same conundrum not through study of Newtonian physics, but through study of higher-dimensional shapes existing in hyperspace. "Absolute motionlessness" would have to apply not only to the "relative" motions of various bodies in outer-space, but also to the ZPE tachyon field that comprises hyperspace as well. Likewise, if (as I have long postulated) temporal patterns occurring in 4th-spatial dimensional hyperspace cast "shadows" into the 3-dimensions of outer-space in the form of cycles or repeating patterns of events, then the question of "absolute motionlessness" becomes one of "what is the (possibly 5th-dimensional) source for the (faster-than-tachyons) light that illuminates 4-d spatial shapes in hyperspace, causing them to cast their temporal-shadows across the various bodies in 3-d outer-space?" The source for this "light" can only be postulated to exist within a field of "absolute motionlessness" that would, itself, have to supersede the boundaries of both 3-d outer-space and 4-d hyperspace. Whether this "light" source emanates from beyond the (probably 5th-dimensional) field of "absolute motionlessness" in which it exists, or else is caused to come into being by some as-yet unknown action within the (5-d) field of "absolute motionlessness," and thus does not, in itself, imply a "higher-dimensional" aperture being involved, determines whether there is influence on our local universal physics from only as "high-up" as the 5th-dimension, or if the effects we experience are influenced from a dimension even "higher-up," possibly in the 6th-spatial dimension (or above, although in hyper-spatial geometry, the "regular solid" forms from the 5th-dimension upward are all the same, indicating there maybe a ubiquity of motive force unifying these all in the realms of hyperspatial physics as well).

the local cosmos is like a bead on a string that is "infinite" (never-ending) because it is an isomorphic loop. The cosmos itself is not "infinite," it has a beginning (the "big bang"), a middle ("critical mass") and it will have an end (when all matter is crushed by super-massive black-holes into ZPE - the "nulliverse"). But then, from this limitless field of ZPE, another random fluctuation will create another cosmos, with different laws of physics, that will exist for a time and then return to a ZPE "null-state," or "absolute motionlessness." The local universe is not "infinite," but the ZPE nulliverse beyond it is.

if there is a "baby-universe" formed inside (or through) each gravitational singularity at the core of each black-hole inside our local universe, and this "baby-universe" is comprised of the inverted "matter-energy" subsumed into the black-hole from the surrounding space-time of the local universal continuum, and thus each "baby-universe" has its own set of physics determined by their component ingredients so assembled into a "cosmos" from only those elements present locally to the "parent" black-hole, then even our own "local universe" is already a "parent" cosmos of a "multiverse" of "baby universes." The pure field of ZPE that is tachyonic hyperspace surrounds the local multiverse, which surrounds the local universal spacetime continuum. Below light-speed matter-energy assembles into the form of the space-time continuum, and above it disassembles into anti-matter and exotic particles in a time-space continuum inverted from our own local universal laws of physics. Thus, our own cosmos maybe itself such a "baby universe" inside a larger "parent" cosmos, beyond even the halo of ZPE hyperspace illuminating the area surrounding the outside of our local multiverse, above light-speed. In string-theory, the premise (nowadays at least) is that there are 11 possible "dimensions" (double-directions for possible expansion or contraction motion) in the local "parent" cosmos, and that our own local universe only "expanded" in 3 of these dimensions, and MAY interact with other "sibling" cosmoses within the 11-dimensional "parent" cosmos nearby to our own via the 4th-spatial dimension, or hyperspace.
