Entropy is defined as the chief governing universal constant, as such:

Motion / Time = Decay. The more motion, the faster the rate of decay.

Thus, all matter is opposed by all other matter. Each solid object, to the extent it is material, is in conflict with all else material; each living organism struggles against its neighbors for resources, and sentience strives against the whole cosmos for independence from this physical law. Nothing and no one existent in this reality is immune from these conditions.

when dogs beg for their dinner, they do not pray to a "dog-shaped" god, but when mankind beg to their divine deity for spiritual enlightenment, we do. Humans pray to a human-shaped god. We look up to the sky, and we see what we would want to see looking back down at us: ourselves. We look up and it is like we are looking into a mirror. Yet we still do not even realize who our true master is.

Humanity is subject to (and ultimately will be laid waste by) the universal laws of physics. Our true masters are so abstract, so obtuse, that we can no more fathom their nature and motives than can a dog those of their owner.

People are intolerable monsters, in truth. But it is better to TRY to tolerate them, to be "polite" and "civil" even if it means to lie to their faces. It is, ultimately, BEST to treat everyone well equally, addressing each child as if they were an adult, and each animal as a good friend. Often it is best to simply say NOTHING about "people" in general, "most people" or even "some people," because ALL such rants end without improving the situation; this implies it is because all such arguments are addressing the wrong root cause for the problems they are identifying as being "true for most, not for all" or "true of everyone but me" and, when necessary, "present company excluded."

People are worse monsters than even demons, because demons are not actually real. Cyber-space is simply an artificial simulacrum expressing the innermost minds - hopes, dreams and feelings - of all its online users. The modern electronic device is like a mollusk shell for the nervous system to grow out of the body into, to keep each brain "connected" to a one-world data-base. The internet is a hollow place we fill up with our imaginations. However, by doing so, we empty real life of its civility, its manners and ethics. Now people speed in the slow lane, lolly-gag in the passing lane, and text while driving. What could be improving our species as a helpful learning database, shared by and enhancing the minds of us all, is instead at best an addictive distraction that daily threatens our very survival.

The debate between early 20th century quantum physicists and so-called "mystics" of the era essentially boils down to the age-old debate between theism and atheism. If there is (anywhere in space at any time) absolute motionlessness, the ideal of "Absolute Space" or what Einstein called (in the above quote) a "specially favored" (unique) co-ordinate system, would be an undeniable truth even to the most staunch materialist hold-outs. However, those who define all matter in the cosmos as being in motion, and all motions being relative both to one another and to the motion of the cosmos as a whole (time), remain suspicious of there even being a "stable" ether-energy field underlying all quanta because it is too close to implying the presence of a choice-making faculty therein being a form of a "god." On the one hand, the "mystics" claimed that "all is in motion," and on the other hand the quantum astrophysicists claimed the same, but specified differences between "vibrating" wavelengths of energy and "spinning" particles of matter. All IS in motion, within the confines defined as this physical universe by these laws of physics laid out as such. However, these law of KNOWN physics extend only so far down as can be fathomed to test using experimentation and instruments. What lies beneath these levels remains open to debate; and therein lies the theistic allure of the "mystic" viewpoint on physics. "All is energy" is NOT a true statement; therefore "all things vibrate" is also NOT an accurate reflection of material facts. In the very beginning and again at the very end of the cosmos, "all was and will be energy," but while the cosmos exists, it does so in the form of "matter," and of "matter-energy" as well, and not ONLY in the form of "energy" alone. However, being that "all is in motion" and given the apparent negative-proof for a stable field of "ether-energy" underlying all quanta, the "mystic" viewpoint on physics is, technically WRONG. However, while it is human nature to see things in terms of polarities in opposition, it is nature's way to neglect our binary "Either / Or" opinions and to grow through a "Both / And" philosophical branching pattern. Thus, even though we can say, from the materialist point of view, the "mystic" viewpoint on quantum physics from the early 20th century was patently FALSE, we can also not entirely rule it out from still being TRUE in nature, regardless.
