Forum Foray, or how I battled TPTW and the ABCs

As part of a multi-purposed effort, I took some time to visit some internet forums that happened to tailor to interests relevant to previous posts. My primary interest was to find ways to address personal situations but that's a longer story and probably not so relevant to the general reader. Secondarily, I used the experience to reflect on a lot of questions I had on other matters. Since I had departed from these scenes some years ago, one thing I asked myself is had I been missing out on anything since, wondering if I had made the right choices with how I lived life from then on. The short answer is, yes I have been better off, and that was generally the conclusion as made from "Shrouded Story".

While that kind of reflection is suitable in a personal context, that's not really what this thread is about. Instead I'd like to focus on some of my findings in this recent time and how it can relate to others so that ideally it may help them avoid pitfalls I've observed and also so that others receive what is due to them.

This is a fair statement. After all, this is a general expectation in civilization that people face responsive measure for criminal behavior and that entities that are obliged to the public also face measure for practicing corruption. Again this statement is not only fair, but mild given what is known to have transpired.

When engaging in research, resources and materials have to be accounted for prior to beginning data collection. A good research plan accounts for this and long term research requires greater planning. Taking that in reverse, if a solid long term research plan with resources to match using great amounts of aggregate data is in effect then it's a question of what kind of interests could support that. It eliminates possibilities of who possibly would and looking at it further it would be most fitting for either private interests with a lot of clout or public/governmental interests. Given the connections one can form between the development of the internet and the application of psychological operations against unsuspecting civilians as seen in the same forums, one can reasonably speculate the involvement of the latter set of interests if not also the former included. I say the latter to start with because they are more readily able to act with impunity whereas private interests still must go through many more loopholes to protect themselves legally.

Because of the necessary resources, extended periods of time, existence of multitudes of parties, and coinciding history of both technological development but events in society including leaks of these things, one can expect a form of collusion towards some end regarding these occurrences. This segways further into involved parties which we shall get to next.
