the Pythagorean Order of Death
dedicated to restoring Atlantean Democracy
I'm currently researching correspondences and possible relationships of music and color to the planets. The variances from one author to the next have been interesting and confusing at times. So far, the following chart seems to make the most sense...but as with anything, it's certainly subject to revision if a better idea is discovered along the way (suggestions/comments are welcome!)
please note: the 1/2 step planetary correspondences I arbitrarily chose based on the order of seconds (weekdays in reverse), which naturally create "bridges" between each of the planets placed in the chaldean order. also, i don't do "indigo"...so there is that variance as well in the order of the rainbow colors listed:

Thanks so much, Jon! Just home from work & will be reading all of these this evening..
Jon, in the Harmonia ( 353 - 361) and on the keyboard octave chart, the colors vary in correspondences to the light spectrum (green/venus = E instead of C), but is that according to a different system or method? I posted a second chart found (above) that shows some added details of what I'm currently looking at. It seems to make sense so far, but I'd really like your take on this too before I start drawing things up...
okay, what i'm seeing (so far) is that the 7 planet correspondence occurs via an F major octave:
F = +Saturn (Black)
F# = -Venus
G = +Jupiter (Red)
G# = -Mercury
A = +Mars (Orange)
A# = -Moon/+Sun (Yellow)
B = -Sun/-Saturn (the center: a "pause" or empty space..not played)
C = +Venus (Green)
C# = -Jupiter
D = +Mercury (Blue)
D# = -Mars
E = +Moon (Violet)
E/F = -Sun/-Saturn (again, an empty space occuring "between" notes?)...
F = +Saturn (Back to Black)
