The same rules and physical laws that apply to a particle/wave within a larger, less dense energy/mass also apply to an event of space-time (of any size-scale) within the field of ZPE ("ether"). Thus, the "wake" caused by a particle/wave within a field is equivalent, in the context of event and ZPE, to ripples of "influence" that obey the "inverse square law" and the "doppler effect" on their rate of dispersion. Causality collapses these in on the event.
