the Pythagorean Order of Death
dedicated to restoring Atlantean Democracy
Nearly equi-distant from Tikal as Tikal was from Copan lay the Mayan observatory temples of Palenque. It is here, in the temple of inscriptions, we find the tomb of Pacal Votan, who reigned around 1300 years ago. On the intracate low relief of the lid of his sarcophagus we see Pacal seated above the demonic bat-deity, Zotz, inhaling ayhuascha from the tree of the cross-roads, atop which sits the Quetzal.
