exactly 708 years ago today, Catholic Pope Clement V conspired with French King Philip IV to purge the Poor Fellow Soldiers of Christ and of the Temple of Solomon, called the Knights Templar, and to falsely accuse their leadership, including their Grand Master Jacques De Molay, of heresy and blasphemy.

Although confessions were extracted from the Templar leaders, including De Molay, under torture, and the Pope granted absolution to the accused for this, later on De Molay and his fellow remaining Templars recanted their confessions, which prompted Philip IV into such a rage he burned De Molay alive. It is said that, as he was being immolated, De Molay prophesied that within "a year and a day" he would see the King and the Pope being judged for their crimes in heaven.

When Gaza is carpet bombed by Israel, we may complain about it on social media, but we can do nothing to prevent it. When nationless terrorists claim responsibility for attacks in Paris that are then used by western nations to justify increased bombing of middle eastern nations, we can complain about it on social media, but again, this accomplishes no change to foreign policy. Out of the 7 billion + people alive on earth right now, nearly 2 people die every single second of each minute, all day everyday; what does complaining about death online do to even postpone it, inevitable as it is? Instead of feeling frustrated about our online impotence in international affairs, and desiring a return of "power to the people," we could accept this condition of vocal castration, and simply mind our own, personal business. When "policy makers" and "state officials" declare war, covertly or overtly, their pyrrhic "victories" are not for a free people to celebrate; "they" are not "us," "we" are not "them." In truth, there is no "them" nor "us," there is only "me" alone, and "everyone else;" nobody else's business is mine, and mine is nobody else's business. And likewise for everyone else.

As of 10/1/14: 1,406,890 (1.4 M) combined Government (public sector), Contractor (private sector), & "Other" (non-specified) employees carry a "Top Secret" Clearance, with eligibility for access to ALL forms of such "classified" intelligence held on file in any format by the US DOD and intelligence community.* The US population is (as I write this) passing 322,294,123 (322.3 M). ** By my calculations this means out of every 230 people in the US, one of them has "Top Secret" Clearance. This is, also, as many people as the population of the city of San Antonio, Texas, US alone, and it is the 7th most populous city in the US. ***

compared to the "threat" of ISIS, western "civilization" is like an elephant compared to a mouse. If "civilization" cannot adapt to living in peace without manifesting a phantom enemy to fear, then it is not a fit model for the government of human behavior.

the real enemy of France is the IMF. ISIS is only an invented distraction.
