the Pythagorean Order of Death

dedicated to restoring Atlantean Democracy

When in the course of theological debate, it becomes necessary for a rational atheist to dissolve the intangible chains which have bound them to theism, and to assume amongst one's own mental scope and scale of influence their separate and equal station opposite the dogma of a theology that morally entitles both fact and falsehood, a decent respect for the historical records of mankind requires that they should declare the causes which impel them to this mental self-emancipation.

We rational atheists hold these truths to be self-evident: That no god exists, nor needs to exist, nor to have ever existed, in the format of being a creator of either the cosmos, life in general, nor of our own species; among these are the notions of the universal-mind, of reality being a dream and of alien genetic manipulation. That to perpetuate these historical lies, establishments of religion are instituted among the faithful, deriving their unjust authority from the presumed consent of their hypnotized followers. That whenever any form of religion replaces these ends with humanism, it is the more common choice made by its own denomination to alter and abolish this dogma from its moral core, and to institute new dogma - laying its cornerstone on such principles and aligning its authorities in such form as, to them, shall seem most likely to effect their choice to remain in delusion. Fairness, indeed, does determine that cults long established as religions cannot be changed as easily over right and popular causes; and accordingly all experience hath shown, that the faithful are more prone to endure their own fixation with theism, while such remains an option, than to do what is best by abolishing their own delusion. But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same objective, evinces a design to reduce humanity under absolute Theocracy, it is every soul's right, it is their duty, to throw off such beliefs, and to provide new morals and dogma to serve as their guide and guardian through the gateways of their inner-psychological castle perilous. Such has been the patient suffering of these rational atheists; and such is now the necessity which constrains us to alter our former beliefs about deity. The bibles of theism are accounts of repeated violations and betrayals, all having in direct intent the apocalyptic revelation of a judgment day, or absolute extinction level event upon all life on earth.

To prove this, let Facts be submitted to the attentive believers:

God has refused to abide by his own covenants and commandments, particularly those most wholesome and necessary for humanity's good.

God has forbidden his angels from passing on prayers of immediate and pressing importance, unless suspended in their operation till his assent should be obtained; and when so suspended, he has utterly neglected to answer any of them.

God has refused to bring about other prophesies dealing with the accommodation of large segments of the population, unless these people would relinquish their belief in an afterlife unto him, a belief inestimable to them and so an act formative of devilry only.

God has called together such "new age" ideas as the "galactic federation of light," the "ascended masters," and the "annunaki" in "astral" realms unusual, uncomfortable, and distant from the terrestrial "procreation depository" of the varying species of life, for the sole purpose of fatiguing humanity into compliance with his blockade on the truth.

God has dissolved religious cults repeatedly, for opposing with temporal gravitas his invasions on the rights of the living.

God has refused for the entirety of aeons since the origin of the cosmos, after any such dissolution of a cult to cause others to comprehend their intentions; whereby the cult-leaders, unable to immolate their adversary, have entrusted their works to the public at large for their maintenance; the cult's moral core remaining in the mean time exposed to all the temptations without and suffering within.

God has endeavored to prevent the propagation of free thought among these cults; for that purpose obstructing the laws of attraction and of cause and effect; refusing to pass others, to encourage the faithful to believe; and increasing the number of new souls.

God has broken the messianic promise of justice and peace by refusing to assent to prayers for popular, intelligent and altruistic authorities.

God has chosen prophets dependent on his word alone for the remainder of their lives  and for their fortunes until death.

God has erected a multitude of legal conspiracies, and sent hither swarms of evangelists to harass the unfaithful, and eat out our moral core.

God has kept among us, in times of peace, competing beliefs without the consent of the faithful.

God has affected to render evangelicals independent of and superior to those who adhere to the moralities of faith or who are agnostics or atheists.

God has combined with the angels and demons to subject the living, and especially the unfaithful, to ironies foreign to our benefit and unacceptable by innate morality; giving his assent to their evil acts of pretended justice:

For stationing these demonic adversaries among our species;

For protecting them, by a mock trial, from punishment for any torture or suicides they should cause in the inhabitants of this planet;

For cutting off free-exchange of ideas between the religious denominations;

For imposing taxes and tithing us without our fully informed consent;

For depriving us in many cases of the benefits of fair judgment by our peers;

For transporting us after death to be tried for our karma while we were alive;

For abolishing his past covenants as a system of moral laws ruling all living beings, and establishing in humanity the will to ultimate domination so as to render it at once an example and fit instrument for introducing his own absolute rule over all life;

For taking away our historical record-keepers' objectivity, abolishing our most valuable scientific discoveries, and altering fundamentally the forms of our philosophies;

For suspending our own free-will, and declaring his angels and demons invested with power to determine our fates in all cases whatsoever.

God has abdicated reign over earth, by declaring humanity exiled sinners and waging spiritual war against us.

God has plundered our souls, ravaged our bodies, burnt our achievements, and destroyed the lives of humanity.

God is, from beyond eternity, manipulating large armies of alienated demons to complete the works of death, desolation and tyranny, already proselytized, with circumstances of cruelty and perfidy scarcely paralleled even during the Dark Ages, and totally unworthy of a deity over our civilized species.

God has cursed our fellow souls taken into alienated forms in their afterlife to become demons haunting their own kind, to become tormentors of their comrades and brethren, or to be damned to hell at his hands.

God has excited us against our own nature, and has endeavored to bring against us the inhabitants of our mental frontiers, our emotionless future selves, whose known rule of infiltration is abducting, sampling, altering and returning human specimens of all ages, sexes and conditions.

In every stage of these oppressions we have prayed for mercy in the most humble terms. Our repeated prayers have been answered only by repeated injury. A God whose character is thus marked by every act which may define a Devil, is unfit to be the deity of any faithful people.

Nor have we been wanting in attentions to our arch-angellic brethren. We have warned them from time to time of attempts by their nature to increase the developmental rate of our species. We have reminded them of the circumstances of those punished in the deluge. We have appealed to their native justice and magnanimity, and we have conjured them by theurgy and goetia to disavow god's commandments, which would inevitably interrupt our natural progress and evolution. They too have been deaf to the voice of reason and of logic. We must, therefore, acquiesce in the necessity, which denounces our atheism, and hold arch-angels, as we hold all else, competitors for survival, in peace equally free.

We, therefore, the Illuminati of rational atheists, in general as one, appealing to the logic and reason of any such deity that may exist for their acceptance of our intentions, do in the name, and by the authority of the good among humanity, solemnly publish and declare, that all species of life on earth are, and of Right ought to be free and independent souls; that they are absolved from all allegiance to God, and that all religious connection between humanity and God's angels and demons, is and ought to be totally dissolved; and that, as free and independent souls, each has full knowledge to compete for survival, conclude in peace, contract alliances, establish commerce, and to all other acts and things which independent souls may of right do. And for the support of this Declaration, with a firm reliance on the protection of our own rectitude in righteousness, we mutually pledge to each other our lives, our fortunes and our sacred honor.
