This diagram shows the 3 types of time-lines - the "better" (in which things improve), the "static" (in which all remains the same) and the "worse" (in which all things deteriorate). Here "time" would be measured as moving from left to right, while "luck" would be measured from down to up. The idea that "time" and "luck" comprise right-angled attributes of "entropy" should not be taken lightly, considering that "luck" may act as an "a-causal connecting principle" at a right-angle to the standard arrow of "cause and effect."
