It is more than well worth dwelling on the fact that these elongated skulls represent
an achievement of this kind unique to all known history. It is believed that simply by
binding such elongation was encouraged to occur, and it is also beleived it occured
naturally in the case of Ahkhenaten and Neftiti of ancient Egypt (1335 bce). The
lengths of the community of Peruvian skulls have never been matched on the same
scale anywhere else in currently known history. It has recently been speculated a
skull-surgery called Trephination, where a hole is cut into the skull to relieve brain
pressure, thus, theoretically, allowing the length of the skull itself to expand.
